The answer to why nobody else built it is not technical. The tools have been available since 2024. The answer is incentive. Organizations that benefit from opacity in election systems are not incentivized to build transparent ones. Governments that depend on institutional control over electoral processes are not rushing to deploy systems that make every ballot mathematically verifiable by any citizen.
I had none of those incentives working against me. I built it because it needed to exist.
